Job summary

Loyola University Chicago is seeking a Police Officer for the Rogers Park-Lake Shore Campus. The role supports the CAMPUS SAFETY department through patrols of university facilities and city areas within our jurisdiction.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, enforcing laws, and collaborating with the Watch Commander. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 400+ hours of IL police academy training, firearms certification, FOID card, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of 400+ hours of police academy training from a State of IL certified program.
• State of Illinois police certification; F.O.I.D. card and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols buildings, grounds, parking lots, off-campus facilities and city streets to maintain a safe environment.
• Report to the Watch Commander and respond to incidents in the campus jurisdiction.
