Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• U.S. citizen.
• Certified Police Officer per TCA 38-8-107 within 1 year of employment.
• Meets TCA 38-8-106 qualifications for officers.
• Free from felony/major violations.
• Raw fingerprint records on file with TBI.
• Pass physical exam by licensed physician.
• Good moral character after background check.

Responsibilities

• Campus patrols on foot, bicycle, and vehicle to ensure safety.
• Direct and control traffic; issue citations as needed.
• Respond to incidents, investigate crimes, file reports.
• Testify in court when required; support prosecutions.
• Operate and maintain radios, vehicles, and equipment.
