Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Strong writing and reporting skills are essential for incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized security duties at gatehouse/dispatch and cover relief shifts.
• Respond to emergencies, crimes in progress, alarms, and medical incidents.
• Collaborate with Division of Student Affairs, Campus Safety, and university community.
• Prepare written incident reports and maintain professional conduct.
• Monitor and enforce campus parking programs.
• Open/close buildings as required by the Campus Communication Center.
• Assist with patrolling events and addressing suspicious activity.
• Ensure safe access and identify trespassers; coordinate with law enforcement.
• Be proficient with campus access control systems and CCTV.
• Serve as first responder during emergencies, including hurricanes.
• Support other duties as assigned.
• Work Wednesdays through Saturdays 6AM-6PM; weekends/overnights as needed.
