The Campus Safety Officer is responsible for taking the necessary steps in promoting and maintaining a safe environment for Danville Area Community College. The Incumbent provides an excellent example of customer service skills and promotes public relations with students, faculty, staff and visitors in all of his/her responsibilities.

Wage / Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Days per week: Weekends

Shift: Other

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a security related field

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively, prepare reports, analyze situations, and perform other duties as required

Valid driver’s license, ability to pass a comprehensive background check, and have or obtainPERCCard
