The primary officer's responsibility is to protect the life and property on university property. This may be accomplished by patrol unit, driving carts, on foot, and bicycle patrol of campus roadways, walkways, parking lots, administrative and academic buildings, residential areas on campus, and other satellite locations student housing near campus.
- Patrols university property, in a vehicle or on foot, to provide security and traffic control.
- Performs physical security checks of campus facilities, ensuring facilities are in used by appropriate personnel.

- Must only engage with FPU students in a professional and ethical manner. Must be always productive.
- Ensure all legal requirements are met for FPU campus parking.
- Ensure that the Clery Report is completed each year.

- Must be able to successfully pass and complete a Taser certification course.
- Each candidate must be at least 20 years of age by the date of hire.

$35,360 to $42,640 is the annual starting salary for this role and reflects what Fresno Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to compensation, FPU offers a competitive benefits package.
