Mounds Park Academy is seeking a Manager of Campus Safety and Security in Saint Paul, MN. The role leads a comprehensive safety program across campus facilities and events, partnering with school leadership and local authorities to maintain a secure, welcoming environment.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field along with at least 5 years in safety leadership, and certification in CPR/First Aid/AED.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in law enforcement or campus safety leadership.
• Strong knowledge of emergency preparedness and crisis management.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders in a school community.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee safety and security policies and emergency plans.
• Manage Safety team including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance.
• Liaise with police, fire, and emergency management agencies.
• Oversee campus safety operations and access control.
• Coordinate crisis response and recovery efforts with leadership.
• Provide training on emergency procedures to staff and students.
• Maintain incident reports and safety logs.
