Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in law enforcement or a closely related field.
• A valid California Class C driver’s license with a good driving record.
• A physical examination demonstrating physical ability and psychological evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general campus security by patrolling and responding to emergencies.
• Direct traffic and provide crowd control at events.
• Conduct investigations of reported crimes and document incidents.

Skills

Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to operate standard office equipment

Techniques of first aid and CPR

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic POST Certificate or higher

California Guard Card with Baton permit
