Job summary

Community Charter School of Paterson seeks a Campus Aide for the 2026-2027 School Year to support middle school operations and student safety. Duties include crossing guard, supervision at arrivals/dismissals, lunch monitoring, helping with transitions, and assisting with communications and mailings.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, able to follow directions, work with a team, and maintain accurate records.

• Ability to keep accurate records and prepare reports.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs crossing guard duties as necessary.
• Monitors students at arrival and dismissal times.
• Monitors student movements during class transitions to maximize instructional time.
• Issues late passes.
• Monitors cafeteria behavior during meals and maintains cleanliness.
• Assists with answering phones and school mailings.
• Ensures students board the bus in an orderly fashion.
• Welcomes and documents visitors; provides building security as needed.
• Provides general maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
