Job summary

Saint Paul College seeks a Campus Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment, monitor safety concerns, and serve as the contact for emergency personnel. You will patrol campus buildings and surrounding property, manage parking areas, and lead a shift of student Public Safety Dispatchers.

Two years of related security experience are preferred; a related associate or bachelor degree can substitute.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Security Patrol Officer, Crime Prevention Officer, or Peace Officer.
• An associate's degree may substitute for one year of experience; bachelor’s for two years.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior/exterior and encircling properties of Saint Paul College.
• Regulate and patrol all campus parking areas including parking ramp, surface lots, loading dock ramp and area.
• Respond to campus-wide emergency situations and trouble calls.
• Enforce established key responsibility procedures for all campus buildings.
• Direct and assign all student security monitors (5-7).
• Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Public Safety or the Vice President of Finance and Operations.
