Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Campus Retail Associate to join our campus stores network, delivering exceptional service to students, faculty, and staff. You will support store leaders and handle everyday retail tasks to keep the store operating smoothly.

Qualifications

Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment.
Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods.

Responsibilities

Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
Greet customers and focus on their positive experience during their visit.
Support store operations including operating equipment and cash register with speed and accuracy.
Keep the store fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products.
Availability to work weekly for up to 90 days with occasional weekends.
Routine housekeeping including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal.
