Job summary

Barnes & Noble College on campus is seeking a Campus Retail Associate to deliver friendly, helpful service and assist store leaders with daily operations. You will greet customers, process sales transactions, and help maintain an inviting, organized store environment.

This role offers flexible scheduling, daily pay options, and opportunities to develop in a fast-paced retail setting while supporting students and faculty through campus materials and learning resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years to be considered.
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
• Outstanding attitude with willingness to learn and ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
• Greet customers and support their positive experience.
• Support store operations including operating equipment and cash register with speed and accuracy.
• Keep the store organized, shelving and cleaning as needed.
• Temporary positions require availability weekly for a 90-day period with occasional weekends.
• Routine housekeeping including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal.
