Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Campus Retail Associate to deliver superior customer service and support store leaders in retail operations at our campus store in Bethlehem. You will handle transactions, greet customers, and help keep the store organized and welcoming.

The role offers flexible scheduling, daily pay eligibility, and opportunities to participate in a Management Development Program, providing valuable experience for your resume while supporting campus life and student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 to be considered for employment.
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
• Willingness to learn and excel in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
• Provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit.
• Take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions.
• Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space within the store.
• Seasonal positions require work during peak periods (i.e. semester starts and ends), occasional weekends, and flexibility in scheduling to work periodically during the school year.
• Routine housekeeping including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal.
