Fareway Meat & Grocery Boone Campus is seeking a Campus Refrigeration Technician to monitor, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems across the Boone campus. The role requires careful attention to detail and a background in refrigeration technology.

You will start up and test systems, follow industry best practices, troubleshoot issues, and utilize a CMMS. A high school diploma and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand technical instructions, written and verbal.
• Ability to use various tools effectively and safely.
• Proven ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Electrical and mechanical skills are necessary.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
• Basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Start up, test and observe systems to ensure proper function for its operating life.
• Follow refrigeration best practices, keeping up on industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair heating and cooling systems of all types and sizes.
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management System.
