Job summary

Arizona State University in Phoenix seeks an Administrative Operations Specialist 2 to support recreation programs and services at the West Valley campus. You will work with the Sun Devil Fitness and Wellness team to coordinate programs, lead student staff, and handle essential administrative tasks.

With a Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience, you’ll help grow programs, manage resources, and ensure reliable service delivery across campus recreation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Responsibilities

• Program Coordination and Operations: coordinate, implement, evaluate programs and services at ASU West Valley campus; collaborate with leads, campus partners and student organizations.
• Student Staff Leadership and Development: recruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise, mentor and evaluate student employees.
• Administrative Responsibilities: support payroll processing, budget tracking, recordkeeping, assessment and reporting.
