Qualifications

Master’s degree required.
1 year of relevant experience in recovery support, health promotion, mental health, or collegiate environment.
Knowledge of evidence-based AOD prevention strategies, motivational approaches, recovery support frameworks, harm reduction principles, and population-level behavior change models.
Demonstrated understanding of recovery, addiction services and student development.
Excellent written and oral communication skills across presentations, workshops, trainings, and group facilitation.
Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Canvas, Zoom, and related platforms.

Responsibilities

Leads UMass Recovery operations, peer support meetings, events, and student leadership development.
Provides consultation, brief intervention, referral, and care coordination for students with substance use concerns.
Serves as primary contact for students seeking services and guidance.
Designs and delivers prevention, harm reduction, and recovery education initiatives campus-wide.
Collaborates with campus partners to ensure integrated care pathways and program evaluation.
Recruits, trains, and supervises student staff and ambassadors.
