Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking Undergraduate and Masters students for internship opportunities in Research and Development across multiple North American sites. Interns will support one or two projects in R&D and partner with research scientists to drive these projects to completion.

You will join collaborative project teams to solve chemical- and material-related problems through both fundamental and applied research, spanning product research to process development and application work.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, or other related discipline.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• GPA 3.000 (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support one or two R&D projects and collaborate with research scientists to drive projects to completion.
• Work with cross-functional Dow teams to solve chemical- and material-related problems.
• Contribute to product research, process research and application development.
• Demonstrate a strong safety mindset and focus on delivering business value for Dow.
