Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a University Public Safety Officer to promote lawful behavior and protect the welfare of students, faculty, staff, and visitors on campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in security, public safety or a related field.
• Must have ability to interpret institutional policies, plans, objectives, rules and regulations.
• Must be able to perform duties of a physical nature, requiring constant walking and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Promote lawful behavior and protect the welfare of students, faculty, staff and visitors.
• Perform foot, vehicle and bicycle patrols of the campus.
• Monitor police and fire department radio channels.
