Job summary

Oklahoma City Community College is seeking a Campus Police Officer to provide public safety, law enforcement, and security across college facilities. The officer will patrol by foot, car, bicycle, and CCTV, enforce laws and college policies, and respond to emergencies with professional judgment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, current CLEET peace officer certification or reciprocity, and a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Current CLEET Peace Officer Certification or equivalent reciprocity required.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license required.
• Attends CSA training annually.
• Completes NIMS training IS-100.HE, IS-200.a, IS-700.a, IS-800.b within 90 days and completes Campus Police Field Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide public safety, law enforcement, and security for campus properties.
• Patrol campus by foot, vehicle, bike, and CCTV.
• Enforce state statutes and college policies; issue warnings or citations; make arrests.
• Respond to public safety requests and emergencies; communicate clearly in crises.
• Work in a 24/7 department and participate in training and drills.
