Job summary

You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, prepare incident reports, manage traffic, and support university events, collaborations with local agencies, and community relations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or accredited GED.
• Must pass comprehensive background checks and be able to obtain peace officer certification.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive in performance of duties.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and surrounding areas by vehicle, foot, or bicycle to deter crime and ensure safety.
• Respond to calls, investigate incidents, issue citations, and coordinate with campus and local authorities.
• Prepare thorough incident and booking reports, use force documentation, and support events and safety drills.
• Maintain public safety through first aid, emergency response, and facility security coordination.
• Communicate clearly with campus staff and during emergencies, and assist with traffic control during events.

Education
