Job summary

WHARTON ISD seeks a campus administrator to direct and manage instructional programs, supervise operations and personnel, and provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service at the district level.

The role requires a Master’s in educational administration, a Texas principal certificate, and demonstrated experience in instructional leadership. You will oversee compliance with policies, budgeting, and campus community relations while promoting student achievement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in educational administration or higher.
• Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate.
• Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System Appraiser.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and align instructional and managerial processes with program outcomes.
• Consult campus committees on planning, operation, supervision, and evaluation of the instructional program.
• Provide resources and support to staff to achieve instructional goals.
• Foster collegiality and active staff involvement in decision-making.
• Maintain two-way communication with superintendent, staff, students, parents, and community.
• Lead school improvement planning to meet Academic Excellence Indicators.
