Job summary

USC Hospitality seeks a Food Production Helper to assist in basic food and beverage preparation, assemble meals, and stock the kitchen. You will help maintain cleanliness, follow sanitation procedures, and deliver warm, efficient service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma not required.
• Experience: 1 year in related role.
• Must have valid California Food Handler Card or obtain within 30 days.
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic food and beverage preparation service.
• Assemble and package food and beverage products.
• Stock and maintain all supplies, food items, and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities and sanitation program.
• Provide customer services to faculty, staff, students, and guests.
• Attend meetings and report to station ready to work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
