Job summary

Compass Group USA in Edinburg, TX is hiring full-time and part-time Prep Cooks to join our campus dining team. Prior kitchen/food service experience is preferred, and you must have or obtain a Food Handler's certification.

The fixed pay rate is $12.00 per hour with a schedule that includes mornings and afternoons. You will prepare items from production sheets, follow recipes, operate and clean equipment, store and label food per HACCP guidelines, and serve customers efficiently.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen/food service experience is preferred.
• Must have or obtain a Food Handler's certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items according to production requirements.
• Operates and cleans kitchen equipment.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items per policy and HACCP.
• Takes orders from customers and serves at multiple stations.
• Maintains food safety and sanitation standards.
