Job summary

The Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) at University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point invites applications for the Public Relations and Media Intern role within the Pathways Internship Program. As a Student Hourly position, you will help plan events, edit podcasts, share student stories, and create media content for MRC projects, magazines, and campus outreach.

Qualifications

• Be an enrolled undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Be able to work approximately 10 hours per week during the academic semester.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Program Support: assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing leadership programs, workshops, and events.
• Media & Communications: assist with editing and production of the Center podcast and magazine content.
• Operational Support: assist with daily operations and event materials.
• Administrative Duties: participate in onboarding, attend meetings, and submit timecards and internship materials.
• Develop professional skills through engagement with student organizations and campus partners.
