• Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.
• Patrols on foot and in motor vehicles Cleveland Clinic properties and adjacent areas.
• Investigates and manages all security incidents and hazards.
• Exercises authority in making arrests and, if needed, use of deadly force.
• Maintains firearm qualification standards.
• Conducts investigations, interviews witnesses, and documents activities.
• Testifies in court and assists in hearings.
• Responds to all emergency situations hospital-wide.
