Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus eight years law enforcement experience qualifying for sergeant role.
• Current Texas Peace Officer license and Intermediate TCOLE license required.
• Psychological and medical screenings will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred.
• Official transcripts and licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise campus police operations and personnel.
• Coordinate patrols and secure campus properties.
• Prepare reports and appear in court as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Jeanne Clery Act.
• Maintain relationships with other law enforcement agencies.
