Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking a Plumber to schedule, coordinate, and perform plumbing work across campuses. You will install, maintain, and repair plumbing machinery and systems, supervise materials, and assist other trades as needed.

This role requires a Journeyman license and valid Florida driver’s license, with some weekend hours and on-call reporting. You will inspect and repair pipes and fixtures, ensure compliance with codes, and communicate with vendors and campus staff to keep

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with additional training for the position.
• Four years of related plumbing experience.
• Ability to deliver high level of customer service and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs a variety of plumbing issues including toilets, water heating, and drainage systems.
• Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and fixtures.
• Plans and inventories materials; coordinates with vendors and purchasing department.
• Maintains safety practices and logs service requests.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and responds to service calls.
