Job summary

The University of Colorado Denver is seeking a skilled Plumber to join Facilities Management. This role performs diverse plumbing work across campus, including maintenance, repair, installation, and modification of water lines, sewer systems, water heaters, and restroom fixtures.

Under supervision, you will diagnose issues, upgrade infrastructure, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards while collaborating with other trades. Onsite Denver position with comprehensive CU benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive plumbing experience with service and installs.
• Current journey-level plumber license required.
• Form al plumbing apprenticeship or higher may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and components in university buildings.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Modify and upgrade existing plumbing infrastructure to meet operational needs.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and university standards.
• Collaborate with other trades and departments to support campus-wide maintenance and operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and service records.
