Job summary

Yale University seeks a Campus Planner to manage a portfolio of capital projects across Central Campus, medical and research facilities. You will lead architects, engineers, and construction managers to deliver projects on time and within budget, prioritizing safety and stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, and coordinating with university offices to align with LTCP; supervising consultants; and ensuring designs meet university standards and codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Planning with 7 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of architectural planning, design, and construction processes including ROI studies.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with construction software tools.
• Ability to lead multiple projects, manage budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop planning models aligned with department priorities.
• Lead consultants and design teams through planning and design phases.
• Manage budgets, design scopes, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Provost’s office to support LTCP projections.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and university design guidelines.
