Job summary

Kent State University is seeking a Placement and Testing Coordinator for the Stark Campus in North Canton, OH. The role coordinates daily operations for placement and testing and acts as the primary liaison to designated programs, reporting to an administrator.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and at least two years of higher education experience, with oversight of testing services and related technologies such as Accuplacer and ALEKS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling or related field.
• Two years’ experience in higher education or related field.
• Proficient PC skills including MS Office, Cognos, and Banner.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate placement and testing related programs and ensure policies and guidelines are followed.
• Assess program and training effectiveness.
• Coordinate and participate in meetings, conferences, or special activities.
• May supervise unclassified staff and/or classified staff on an ongoing basis.
• Coordinate university testing services (ACT Residual, CLEP, Reassessments).
• Coordinate the needs of the testing center (scheduling, registration and staffing).
