Job summary

Bridgewater State University is seeking a Student Photographer to support marketing campaigns as part of the Office of Social Media and Digital Content. You will shoot events, portraits in studio and on location, and assist staff photographers and videographers with on-site production tasks.

The role requires night/weekend availability with advance notice, and offers equipment provided by the division, enabling immediate contribution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for at least six credits.
• Experience shooting events and portraits; ability to edit images using Lightroom or equivalent.
• Creative mindset to pitch content ideas aligned with BSU brand.

Responsibilities

• Shoot photos at campus events and portraits in studio and on location.
• Use off-camera flash lighting and coordinate shoots as needed.
• Add metadata and image names; serve as on-site production assistant to staff photographers and videographers.
