Job summary

University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a student Inkblot Photo‑Video Specialist to capture, edit, and produce engaging content for the Center for Student Engagement. You will cover campus events and create social media friendly videos and photos tailored for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

The role requires an undergraduate student with a 2.0 GPA, strong photography/videography basics, and good communication skills. It offers on-campus, part-time work with flexible hours and payroll at $12/hour.

Qualifications

• Undergrad student at UNR with minimum 2.0 GPA.
• Knowledge of photography and videography.
• Willingness to learn Flickr and social media tools.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Attend events for ASUN, CSE, or partners and shoot approved sessions.
• Edit photos and videos for YouTube, TikTok, and social media formats.
• Upload deliverables to photo/video servers and maintain organized archives.
• Collaborate with Social Media Manager and graphic designers for consistent branding.
• Maintain equipment, document checkout, and adhere to deadlines.
• Participate in regular meetings and office hours for planning.
