Job summary

CENTERS, LLC is hiring on-site Personal Trainers for the Sonnentag Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. You will assess clients, design personalized training programs, and guide proper exercise form while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires current CPR/AED and First Aid, and a current personal training certification (ACE/NASM/ACSM/NSCA). Training staff collaborate with university facilities and community members.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required.
• Current personal training certification from ACE, NASM, ACSM, or NSCA is required and reviewed for consideration.
• Experience with Fitness Assessment Equipment including blood pressure, height, weight, body fat measurement with calipers, waist-to-hip ratio, cardiovascular testing, muscular strength and endurance testing, and flexibility testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments.
• Develop customized training programs for clients.
• Demonstrate proper exercise form and safely instruct clients through an effective personal training session.
• Provide quality customer service and communication to all clients and potential clients.
• Utilize provided software for communication, program planning, and client and financial record keeping.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor.
• Follow and enforce all program and facility policies.
• Respond and assist as needed during emergencies.
• Attend staff meetings, in-services, and trainings.
• Promote the fitness program and services.
