Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to patrol campus parking zones, issue citations when needed, and assist faculty, staff, patients, and visitors with parking questions.

This onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 11am to 8pm, and requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of public-facing work, and a valid Texas Class C driver license to operate university vehicles.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED with related experience.
• Two years of experience in a high public contact/customer service role.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver License with acceptable driving record to operate university vehicle

Responsibilities

• Interprets and enforces parking regulations and state laws.
• Investigates and resolves parking complaints proactively or via dispatcher.
• Operates a hand-held ticket writer to identify violations and towing needs.
• Provides information to customers regarding parking directions and issues.
• Directs vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure safety and smooth campus flow.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
