Job summary

Weber State University is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to issue parking citations and manage vehicle immobilization during events, including football and basketball games. The role requires availability for some nights and weekends as events dictate.

Shifts run 7:00am–12:00pm, 12:00pm–4:00pm, and 4:00pm–8:00pm, Monday through Friday, in Ogden, UT. This is an hourly/work-study pool position with pay of $12.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate handheld ticket writing machine.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in confrontational situations.
• Ability to work with diverse, and at times difficult, clientele.

Responsibilities

• Enforce parking rules and issue citations.
• Manage vehicle immobilization and special event parking.
• Work nights and weekends as events demand.
• Parking enforced Monday through Friday across three shifts: 7:00am–12:00pm, 12:00pm–4:00pm, 4:00pm–8:00pm.
