Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of a certified apprenticeship program preferred.
• 4 years journey-level painting experience or equivalent.
• Experience with paints, solvents, and finishing materials.

Responsibilities

• Paint walls, ceilings, floors, woodwork, stucco and masonry for interior and exterior facilities.
• Install, finish and patch drywall and stucco walls.
• Apply paints, stains and topcoats with rollers, brushes and sprayers.
• Maintain safety procedures and accurate operation logs and documentation.
• Read blueprints and specifications for construction/renovation projects.
• Respond to emergencies to address paint or safety issues.
• Work weekends/holidays and possible overtime as needed.
