We are seeking a reliable, organized, and team-oriented Campus Operations Associate to join our team. This role supports the cleanliness and daily operations of the school while also assisting with student supervision during recess and lunch periods.
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Assistant Principal of Operations and Programs, the Campus Operations Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly school environment throughout the day while supporting student supervision during designated recess and lunch periods.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintains cleanliness of hallways, restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas throughout the school day.
- Performs routine custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and restroom maintenance.
- Responds promptly to spills, accidents, or cleaning needs during the school day.
- Assists with setup and breakdown of school spaces for events, meetings, or activities.
- Monitors and restocks custodial supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed.
- Supports with minor maintenance tasks and reports facility issues when observed.
- Ensures school entrances, hallways, and high traffic areas remain clean and safe.
- Supervises students during recess to ensure safety, appropriate behavior, and adherence to school expectations.
- Supervises students during lunch periods, helping maintain a safe and orderly cafeteria environment.
- Assists students and staff as needed to maintain a positive and supportive school culture.
- Supports arrival, dismissal, or hallway monitoring as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous custodial or facilities experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Ability to interact positively with students and staff.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school building and grounds.
- Ability to perform custodial duties including bending, reaching, and lifting.
