Job summary

California State University Dominguez Hills is seeking a Network Analysis professional to support the campus Network Control Center. The role involves planning, designing, and installing LAN/WAN/VOIP networks, and serving as the system administrator for network devices and security systems.

You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, manage documentation, and contribute to security processes. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring collaboration across IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
• Advanced degree may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Supports IT Infrastructure; perform day-to-day campus network operations.
• Develop and architecture infrastructure cabling from wiring closet to work areas.
• Handle helpdesk tickets and resolve network issues promptly.
• Maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, network mapping tools, and other enterprise tools.
• Apply patches to switches and firewalls; ensure network security and performance.
