Job description

The Campus Monitor will serve as a support system for students and teachers during key moments of our instructional day. Reporting to the Assistant Principals of Operations (APO), they will supervise students to ensure a safe environment where students can thrive. Additionally, they will complete tasks as directed by the APO to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and Monitor Students
  2. Provide supervision during routines such as hallways, lunch, and recess.
  3. Use calm, warm, and clear communication to redirect behaviors.
  4. Set and uphold expectations for spaces and behaviors.
  5. Collaborate with APOs and lead teachers to determine monitoring spots and times.
  6. Report safety and student conduct violations.
Operations & Front Office Support:
  1. Deliver supplies to classrooms.
  2. Maintain storage areas and inventory.
  3. Upkeep bulletin boards.
  4. Assist with laminating materials and setting up or cleaning for events.
  5. Manage technology inventory.
  6. Serve as a floater for front desk coverage.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: High School Diploma and experience in childcare or school settings.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move inside and outside throughout the day.
  • Willingness to attend conferences and training both virtually and in person.
Additional Information:
  • Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-1:30.
  • Travel up to 5 miles between campuses.
  • Pay rate: $17-$22/hour based on experience.
