Job summary

The University of Houston, Counseling & Psychological Services, seeks a clinician to provide on-site mobile crisis response for UH students in distress, in collaboration with the University of Houston Police Department.

You will conduct crisis intervention, mental health assessments, and case management, linking students to counseling, psychiatry, or community resources, while ensuring timely documentation and coordination with campus partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a directly related field and licensure or eligibility.
• Experience providing crisis intervention and mental health assessments.
• Ability to coordinate care across campus and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site mobile crisis response to students in distress.
• Perform clinical assessments and determine appropriate level of care.
• Provide ongoing case management and follow-up for stabilization.
• Collaborate with UHPD and campus resources to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain compliant documentation in accordance with laws and policies.
