InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA in Oklahoma seeks a part-time learner to support college campus ministry while you are enrolled in a four-year or community college. The role may intern for second/third-year students depending on the program and college type.

Join the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision, teach Scripture, and promote the Mission on campus. You will grow in leadership, spiritual disciplines, and cross-cultural ministry while learning to engage student communities

Qualifications

• Follower of Jesus Christ
• Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement
• Develops passion for evangelism
• Demonstrates campus ministry leadership qualities such as initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, communication, professionalism, eagerness to learn, cross-cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity.

Responsibilities

• Participate and engage with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction
• Contribute to plans for spiritual growth and transformation
• Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives
• Promote the Mission on campus and build diverse witnessing communities
• Seek opportunities to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ
• Learn to guide chapters in strategic thinking regarding witness to the university
• Engage with supervision and training from staff ministry trainer/director
• Assist with reporting
• Serve as an ambassador to ministry partners and churches through prayer and outreach
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
