InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is seeking a Student Intern for the West Michigan Area team to learn the basics of college campus ministry. This part-time position is limited to students enrolled in a four-year or community college, with year-specific eligibility noted in the posting.

The role emphasizes mentorship, service, and learning across campus ministry activities. You will participate with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision, promote Scripture study, and help students

Qualifications

• A follower of Jesus Christ and affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement.
• Developing passion for evangelism with campus ministry leadership qualities.
• Demonstrates initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, communication, professionalism and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Contribute to the campus ministry team plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
• Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Promote the Mission on campus and seek opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel.
• Learn to guide chapters in developing strategic witness to the university.
• Learn to model and assist students and faculty in growing in love for God's people of every ethnicity.
• Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students, especially those not yet following Jesus.
• Engage positively with supervision and training from staff ministry trainer or director.
• Assist with reporting as assigned.
• Serve as an ambassador of InterVarsity to ministry partners and churches, through prayer and discussion of ministry efforts.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
