Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work is required
• 1 year of full-time verifiable work experience in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
• 2 semesters of verifiable internship experience in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
• License or Associate License in Counseling or similar field
• Experience with culturally diverse populations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conducts intakes/assessments
• Develops treatment plans for students to achieve goals
• Provides individual and group therapy
• Responds to crisis situations and conducts crisis debriefing
• Acts as client advocate to coordinate services
• Create and present workshops and outreach programs
• Collaborate with campus and community partners
• Maintain confidentiality and complete necessary documentation
• Support grant funding opportunities
• Provide information about mental health topics as needed
