Job summary

Miami University Regionals is seeking a full-time Mental Health Clinician at the Hamilton campus with some travel to Middletown. You will provide generalist counseling, crisis intervention, and psycho-educational programming to students, with clinical documentation and collaboration with staff.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a mental health field and Ohio licensure or eligibility, and includes a background check. This position is based on a 40-hour work week and benefits-eligible.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an accredited mental health program and Ohio licensure or eligible.
• Licensed in Ohio or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Experience with university student populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide generalist mental health counseling to Miami University students.
• Intervene in crisis and emergency mental health situations.
• Consult with families, faculty, staff and other professionals.
• Provide psycho-educational programming to campus groups.
• Maintain clinical records and communicate with external practitioners as needed.
• Attend clinical staff meetings and participate in committees.
