The Smart Campus Initiative at the University of Kentucky is seeking student interns for the Bowman’s Friends Student Media and Podcast team. You’ll help create engaging, campus-focused content that highlights events, resources, and the surrounding community.

Ideal candidates have an interest in podcasts, technology, and content creation; you will film, edit, brainstorm, and schedule podcasts while gaining hands-on skills in production and broadcasting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Interest in podcasts, technology, content creation, and editing.
• Able to work 150 internship hours and ~15 hours per week.
• Strong communication and research skills.

Responsabilités

• Filming, editing, and producing short-form videos, graphics, podcasts, and other digital content.
• Brainstorming and collaborating with other student interns for content ideas and podcast topics.
• Creating weekly content around campus events, student life, resources, and trends.
• Incorporating information from sources such as UKNow, BBNvolved, and Wildcat Rundown.
• Bringing personality, creativity, enthusiasm, and ideas to Bowman’s Friends social media presence.
• Scheduling and coordinating podcasts.
