Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking a Materials Handler I to support Central Receiving and warehouse operations on the Tucson campus. You will receive, inspect, scan, and distribute materials and packages to campus locations, and help with warehouse duties.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. You will work as part of a team following safety procedures and use handheld scanners to maintain accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Central Receiving & Materials Processing: receive, inspect, and process incoming materials at Central Receiving and warehouse locations.
• Scan and document items to ensure inventory control and distribution records.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials using handling equipment.
• Organize materials for internal campus distribution per procedures.
• Support efficient material flow and maintain staging areas.
