Job summary

Aramark Rutgers University Camden is seeking a Student Marketing Worker to support campus dining promotions on campus in Camden, NJ. This paid, part‑time role offers hands‑on experience in social media, events, and marketing, directly on campus with Aramark Collegiate Hospitality.

You will help create digital content, assist with event execution, and promote dining initiatives to your peers, while gaining real-world experience in communications and marketing.

Qualifications

• Current Rutgers University‑Camden student; preferred study areas include Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Hospitality or related fields.
• Social, friendly and able to connect with peers.
• Experience with social media platforms and trends.
• Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or video editing software at basic to intermediate level.
• Strong photography and videography skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, reliable and detail‑oriented.
• Passion for food, marketing and student life.
• Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently without constant direction.
• Bonus: experience with event planning, tabling or brand ambassadorship.

Responsibilities

• Create and be featured in engaging content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), including photos, videos, reels and graphics.
• Support planning and execution of campus events like theme dinners, sampling events and orientation activations.
• Capture and edit video/photo content to promote dining initiatives.
• Promote meal plans and dining locations through tabling, giveaways and peer‑to‑peer outreach selling.
• Stay current on social media trends and campus happenings.
• Assist with digital signage and printed marketing collateral.
• Survey students to gather feedback and help improve the dining experience.
• Present dining information at Orientation, Open House and Accepted Student Days.
• Help with basic office tasks and administrative support including pricing audits and delivery of marketing materials.
