Job summary

Sodexo at South Dakota State University is offering a part-time Campus Marketing Intern position. You will gain hands-on experience across food service, events, facilities management, and related operations while supporting campus-wide programs and guest relations.

As an intern, you’ll learn Sodexo’s business practices and leadership principles, participate in event preparation and service execution, and contribute to team success.

Qualifications

• In pursuit of a college degree.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in hospitality, food service, facility management, or event management.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations across food service, facilities, and marketing.
• Learn department guidelines, operating procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform day-to-day assignments, event preparation, setup, and service support.
• Assist with inventory, data entry, filing, reporting, and updating documentation as needed.
• May be part of a formal Sodexo internship program.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to bend, reach, and twist as needed.
