Job summary

Rite of Passage Team is seeking a Maintenance Worker at San Pasqual Academy in Escondido, California. You will help maintain buildings, equipment, grounds, and overall campus functionality to support youth and staff.

Responsibilities include general maintenance, painting, drywall, minor electrical/plumbing, and fleet support. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 6:00 am–3:00 pm, with benefits starting within 90 days and a focus on safety and reliability on campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Pass criminal background clearance, drug screen, physical and TB test.
• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Be flexible and manage multiple priorities.
• If operating a company vehicle, possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• General building maintenance, painting, drywall and sheetrock repair.
• Minor electrical and plumbing repairs, doors, locks, windows and screens.
• Maintain heating and cooling equipment, flooring and roofing repairs.
• Grounds and irrigation maintenance and assistance with remodels.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
• Assist with keeping the ROP vehicle fleet functional as needed.
