Job summary

St. Norbert College is seeking a part-time Maintenance Specialist to join our facilities team. The role offers four hours daily, Monday through Friday, with limited night or weekend work except for potential snow removal.

Tasks include masonry, carpentry, window repairs, and HVAC/electrical/plumbing support. Requirements include a high school diploma, 5 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong multitasking and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks campus-wide, including daily work orders, repairs, and modifications.
• Perform masonry tasks and repairs.
• Repair broken windows and install new window components.
• Perform carpentry tasks.
• Assist with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
• Assist with snow removal and participate in the on-call program.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
