Responsibilities

• Cleans classrooms, rest rooms, multipurpose rooms, libraries, offices, and related facilities.
• Operates vacuums, floor cleaning machines, scrubbers, and steam cleaners.
• Performs minor maintenance and repair to buildings, fixtures, and equipment; adjusts shades/blinds and desks; assembles furniture.
• Keeps an inventory of supplies and requisitions needed supplies.
• Responds to emergency cleanups such as spills and clogged drains.
• Sets up and arranges furniture for assemblies, meetings, and events.
• Inspects areas for hazards and reports issues to appropriate authority.
